Using
EPGcenter with MediaPortal
EPGcenter is capable of providing EPG information
to MediaPortal.
To achieve this take following steps
[1] First of all make sure that MediaPortal is
installed and configured correctly.
[2] Make sure that you have named all your channels
in MediaPortal exactly the same as you have named
them in EPGcenter. So if a channel is called "BBC
1" in EPGcenter then it also should be called
"BBC 1" in MediaPortal.
[3] Open MediaPortal Setup and Select Television/Program
Guide. Set all settings as in below picture. This
is in the assumption that you have installed EPGcenter
in the default location.

Believe it or not, that's it
Below is a picture of what you see in EPGcenter
(of course this is just an example with only 8
channels)

Below is a picture of what you see in MediaPortal's
EPG
Notes
MediaPortal has an EPG cache of its own. If you've
messed up and provided wrong EPG data to MediaPortal
you can click the "Remove All Programs From
TV Database" button in the Media Portam Setup.
This will clear the MediaPortal cache and you
can then restart.
The EPG data used in this example was retrieved
with an XMLTV Organizer input location
If you have no experience with EPGcenter yet,
just know that EPGcenter does all this in background
if you want it to
