| Using
TVxb with EPGcenter
This tutorial describes how to get start using
the benefits of TVxb to gather EPG data
of numerous channels from Europe, Asia, Russia,
Australia, New Zealand. The benefit of using EPGcenter
in combination with TVxb is that you have EPGcenters
graphical interface at your disposal to manage
the channels you want EPG data for. You don't
need to start editing INI files etc ...
TVxb is not packaged together with EPGcenter
so you need to install TVxb yourself. Nothing
is more easy than that.
Goto the TVxb
support site and download the lastest version
Unzip the downloaded zip file in for instance
c:\Program Files\EPGcenter to keep everyting
neatly together but you actually can install TVxb
anywhere you like.
Now goto the countries
page and download whatever counries your interested
in into the ini directory just like in
below image

That's it. There nothing more to do where TVxb
is concerned except to thank the author
of TVxb for his fantastic work.
As of now you can
start to use TVxb's grabbing power through EPGcenter
Open EPGcenter and select Edit/Add Input Location
Enter whatever you want as description
As input type select TVxb
The first time you do this, EPGcenter will ask
you to specify where the TVxb executable is located.

Click Ok end browse the the location of
TVxb.exe, select the executable and click Open

To define which channels you want to download/view
click on the Channels button. Following
selection box will appear
What you can see is an overview of all country
files that you have put in the ini sub directory.
Double click on any of the countries/providers
and start selecting channels. Also select how
many days of information you want to download.

Click Save and Save again
To efectively start the download process press
F6 or schedule the download to run sometime
during the night time using the settings on the
atomation tab
You will see TVxb at work and after a while this
will be the result

Optionaly you can let EPGcenter upload that information
to your Sattelite receiver (e.g. Dreambox) or
your PVR system or even the internet.
