Next to GPSAssist.NET you also get two other components which can be used seperately from GPSAssist if wanted.

POIAssist to download Point of interest (OV2) files directly from the internet without the need for a PC. By default a number of POI sites (Pocket GPS World, POIHandler, flitspaal.nu) are pre configured. Click here for an example.

RouteAssist to import Garmin Mapsource (MPS) files and navigate the route contained in them. This breaks the 16 point limitation of TTN3 and offers point to point navigation with an unlimitted amount of waypoints for all versions of TTN. Of course you can also create your own routes without importing Garmin Mapsource files.

GPSAssist.NET Upgrade Information

Current GPSAssist version 1.x users can upgrade to version 2 for free. All registered GPSAssist users may use both version 1 and 2. You can find the old GPSAssist version 1 site here.

Important: although the upgrade is free you do need a new registration code. Simply send the new ID (help/register) AND your old registration details and/or an original purchase confirmation to registration@autoreplying.com.

Don't forget to include the new ID number you can find on the help/register panel in GPSAssist.NET

Installation

Unzip the downloaded file into a directory on your PC and click setup.exe. If you are using WM2003 you may deselect the Microsoft .NET compact framework as this is by default already present on your device.

Once installed you will find two new icons on the start/programs window of your pocket pc. GPSAssist version 1 users might still see the old icon for GPSassist version 1 in the start menu which will still start GPSAssist version 1.

Purchase and registration

The trial version of GPSAssist.NET can be started 40 times and is fully functional.
